A circular economic system
E-Repair promotes a circular economic system with the implementation of a business model that seeks to extend the life of electronic equipment in order to reduce waste and reuse it as a resource for a continuous positive development cycle.
A Circular Economy: the 4 R's
- Reduce
Reducing means, first of all, using less raw materials and resources, but also reducing waste and using more sustainable materials which can be easily recycled, reused or disposed of. - Reuse
Extending the life of a product as much as possible, through maintenance and remanufacturing, in order to reduce waste and the use of raw materials. - Repurpose
When a product cannot be repaired, its most useful parts can be used for purposes other than their original intended use. - Recycle
The process of converting waste materials into secondary raw materials that can be used to manufacture new products.
A conscious choice
E-Repair complies with the ISO 14001:2015 requirements for an environmental management system, which is part of its management system, to meet legal obligations and address and assess risks and opportunities for environmental protection and a conscious management of its resources.
To this purpose, we only use electricity from renewable sources, part of which is self-produced through a photovoltaic system that was installed on the roof of its main production plant.
Finally, the team of our Research and Innovation department continuously work to develop innovative solutions aimed at optimising both the services offered and the energy and environmental resources exploited.

2020 achievements
In 2020, E-Repair joined the Italian Atlas of Circular Economy, as the first company in the field of automation carrying out repair and remanufacturing activities according to the principles of the circular economy.

2021 achievements
In 2021, E-Repair was included by Symbola Foundation, in collaboration with Enel and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, in the list of the 100 companies leading the way to a circular economy, as part of the second edition of the « '100 Italian Circular Economy Stories' event ».
2022 achievements
