Siemens SITOP: single-phase power supplies (root 6EP13)

SITOP power supplies provide the 24 V DC voltage that feeds PLCs, panels, sensors and actuators in almost every automation cabinet. Versions with single-phase input (120 – 230 V AC) are the most common. If the power supply fails, everything connected to it switches off.

The E-Repair catalogue covers about 42 part numbers of single-phase SITOP power supplies.

❓ Frequently asked questions

✔️ Is it worth repairing a SITOP power supply?

It depends on the model: for larger sizes or discontinued versions repair is often worthwhile; for small models still available, replacement may be better. E-Repair assesses each case.

Often yes, after checking output voltage and current, input, dimensions and signalling contacts.

✔️ What is needed for the diagnosis?

The full part number from the rating plate and a description of the fault.
