Siemens MICROMASTER Classic inverters represent one of the earliest AC drive platforms widely used in industrial automation between the 1990s and early 2000s. Even today they are installed in thousands of European plants and integrated into special machines no longer marketed but still strategic for production.

Their presence is particularly high in custom-designed lines, where complete replacement would require complex mechanical, electrical and software modifications.
