💡 What is a control module and what is it used for?
In every industrial automation system, there is a component that coordinates motion: the control module.
This device receives command signals from a logic or numerical controller (PLC / CNC) and converts them into electrical impulses sent to the motors, regulating speed, torque, and position.
Its main task is to keep movement stable, accurate, and synchronized through a closed-loop control system that continuously compares real-time data from position sensors or encoders.
In practice, it is the brain of the drive system: it decides how, how much, and when to move, ensuring efficiency and safety throughout the production process.
