Conflict Minerals Disclosure

E-Repair S.r.l.U. operates in compliance with the principles of corporate responsibility, transparency, sustainability and proper supply chain management, promoting consistent conduct throughout the entire supply chain. Transparency is a key element in building trust and ensuring effective cooperation.

E-Repair S.r.l.U. requires itself and its suppliers to ensure that all products and services provided are free from “conflict minerals”, obtained from sources that directly or indirectly finance armed conflicts or situations characterized by serious concerns in terms of human rights and institutional stability. This focus particularly concerns materials originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighboring countries, as well as from mining activities located in conflict-affected or high-risk areas.

The term “conflict minerals” includes:

  • gold
  • tantalum
  • tin
  • tungsten
  • and any other mineral included in the regulations currently in force on responsible sourcing (3TG)

Currently, the materials used must be verified in compliance with the applicable international regulations.

Furthermore, E-Repair S.r.l.U. also draws inspiration from international requirements on responsible mineral sourcing, including those set out in the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, Section 1502.

Supplier Requirements

To support E-Repair S.r.l.U. and its customers in complying with the regulations in force on minerals originating from conflict-affected areas, we expect suppliers to fulfil their due diligence obligations along the supply chain by providing, upon request, reports, documents and written confirmations.

In particular, the following are required:

  • compliance with the 5-step framework of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct
  • declaration on the presence and origin of materials through the RMI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template
  • use of smelters declared compliant with the audit protocols of the Responsible Minerals Initiative or equivalent recognized protocols

E-Repair S.r.l.U. carries out a responsible selection of its suppliers.

The company expects, without exception, a response from the selected suppliers regarding the use of any metals originating from conflict-affected areas.

Failure by the supplier to respond may result in further measures, up to and including the termination of future collaborations.
